Integris Southwest Medical Center, in Oklahoma City, Okla., includes an endoscopy suite that's run by a tiny team, one that is small but mighty. Our five staff members alone perform 1,400 cases per year.
Our hospital is full service and has 400 inpatient beds. The emergency department treats 98,000 patients per year and this makes it one of the busiest emergency departments in the state of Oklahoma. Our facility opened in 1965 as a community hospital and has expanded over the years.
Since Integris Southwest Medical Center's emergency department is very busy, it's great to know that the endoscopy team is always on stand-by. They are on call to help with necessary patient cases 24/7.
Our endoscopy team may be small, but the members pack a big punch for our facility. The group transports all the patients to and from their area as well as cleans and prepares their procedure rooms. The team really focuses on the patient experience.
We receive many patient satisfaction surveys that mention the extraordinary care provided in endoscopy during the hospital stay. The endoscopy staff do all of this with a team spirit and truly model our values of "love, learn, lead."
