The reason the unit runs smoothly? It's quite simple, according to Maria Castellanos, a technician at the center.
"Communication is the key," Castellanos said. "Not only with the team members but also with our doctors. Our team and our doctors work hand and hand to make everything run as smooth as possible. Also, our relationship with our GI doctors is very personable."
The GI doctors love the endoscopy team and so does the patient-care floor staff. Our team is an example of how coordinating and sticking together with a daily plan allows for a tremendous amount of work to be accomplished.
