The endoscopy staff of St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia, Mich, have all been nominated as EndoNurse All Stars. The team at this 304-bed acute care community hospital in the suburbs of Detroit work together well and make the field of endoscopy enjoyable for their nurse manager, Sandy Oltersdorf.

"I think my entire department of endoscopy needs to be recognized as Endo All Stars," she writes. "Not only do they give excellent care, they also seem to have fun while they are juggling our busy schedule. They all have their fun sides and know when it is time to kid around instead of being serious."

Clifton Springs Hospital and Clinic in Clifton Springs, NY, is a small rural hospital with 3,600 cases per year. There are two physicians at the hospital and a handful of healthcare workers.

Denise Chamberlin, RN, the endoscopy department leader, has been nominated as an Endo All Star. Daniel L. Biery, DO, FACOI, FACG, says his workload is lightened by Chamberlin's hard work.

"She demonstrates an excellent work ethic and is a dedicated nurse, team leader, and administrator. She has assembled a group of hard working nurses and endo techs," he writes. "I enjoy the camaraderie and the upbeat atmosphere in the department. Overall, I think Denise and her team would match up with any department in the country."

Congratulations, Denise, for being an Endo All Star and thank you for your dedication to the field of endoscopy!
