suppositories are used for rapid evacuation of the lower bowel. They treat and
correct constipation and replace the liquid enema. The suppository is a CO2
evacuant. The lubrication provided by an emollient base combines with the gentle
pressure of the CO2, distending the rectal ampulla and
stimulating peristalsis.

Argon
beam coagulation technology allows rapid, non-contact hemostasis with minimal
thermal injury of adjacent and underlying tissues. This delivery method is
different because ionized Argon gas is used at room temperature to deliver
energy. The cool beam moves blood away from bleeding tissue and coagulates
directly to the surface. The procedure has been indicated in the treatment of
andiodysplasia, polyps, radiation-induced protitis, arterial venous
malformations, watermelon stomach, stenotic tumor debulking and superficial
bleeding.
