engineers have created the Safety-Walk Cushion Matting to reduce the discomfort
of healthcare workers who are constantly standing on hard floors. The matting
reportedly reduces fatigue by up to 50 percent by reducing pressure on the feet
by 60 percent. OSHA has listed prolonged and static standing as a risk factor
for musculoskeletal disorders.
