Congrats to the Big Winners of a Brand-New Endo Award!

This year, EndoNurse and Byrne Medical started a new program, the Endo All-Stars of the Year award. This program is an extension of EndoNurse's long-standing tradition of honoring superb endoscopy teams. The program we've had for more than 10 years is this: for every issue of EndoNurse, our selection committee chooses one team that stands out above the rest. The teams receive a one-page write up about them, and a team photo. This section is sponsored by Byrne Medical, and there are six All-Star teams chosen each year.

The new change is that every year, the EndoNurse team will choose one All-Star team that is particularly impressive. Award results will be announced every year online in early March in honor of Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.

An extended article about the team will appear in the May issue, which is our special "MVP issue."

And the prize? A $2,500 education grant for the team! This can be used for any continuing education the team leader believes is appropriate. The prize can be split evenly, or given to select members, and can fund CMEs, send people to SGNA, the ASGE training center, etc.

The teams are selected based on commitment to patient health, contributions to the community and to continuing education. Also, each team member's ability to meet goals, rise above challenges, work with each other and with doctors and other members of the facility staff. 

So who is the grand winner of this first annual award?
