U.S. Hospitals Rationing Nuclear Imaging Tests

CHICAGOU.S. hospitals are rationing diagnostic tests because of a North American shortage of medical isotopes, Reuters reported today.

The reason for the shortage is that officials closed a Canadian nuclear reactor that produces a third of the world’s supply of medical isotopes. For the full article, click here.
