PHOENIX -- As professionals in the field of GI, you are well aware of the importance of early detection of colorectal cancer (CRC). To commemorate CRC awareness month in March, EndoNurse magazine and its sister publication, today's surgicenter, will host a Webinar on this topic on March 19.
Click here to register for the Webinar.
The free online seminar, "Creating Successful Colorectal Cancer Awareness Initiatives at Your Facility," is sponsored by Olympus America and will help nurses and allied healthcare professionals get the word out within their communities. The course will offer instructions for creating and promoting your own colorectal cancer awareness campaigns. In addition, Webinar participants will be able to order a complimentary CRC Awareness Marketing Toolkit for completing the online course.
The seminar is free and available to everyone; all that is required is a computer and Internet access. No telephones are needed. Just register and wait for an announcement that the Webinar has been posted on the EndoNurse Web site.
The Webinar will be available at 2 p.m. EDT (11 a.m. PDT) on March 19, but for those unable to log on at that time, the Webinar will remain available for a full year. Participants can watch in the comfort of their own homes, or can team up with colleagues to watch at work.
Approval for continuing education contact hours will be submitted to the Arizona Nurses' Association, so participants will have a chance to earn contact hours for watching the Webinar. Free registration is required to earn the contact hour, so encourage colleagues to register individually at www.endonurse.com.
