OAK BROOK, Ill.—SedationFacts.org, a Web site for practicing gastroenterologists, gastroenterology nurses and gastroenterology fellows, recently enhanced the sedation administration standards and regulations content on the site, including state-specific sedation administration information and links to other state resources.
“With the addition of the state-specific information, whenever nurses and other health professionals have a question about their state's position on sedation, they can find the answer in one place. It’s easy to find advisory opinions, position statements and administrative codes by choosing your state on the map, and it makes the web site an even more useful tool,” said Sue Nuccio, MSN, ACNS-BC, CGRN, a clinical nurse specialist at Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee and member of the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA).
