ALPHARETTA, Ga.—EndoChoice, Inc. has expanded its headquarters in Alpharetta, increasing its space by 70 percent. This is the third time in two years that EndoChoice has increased its square footage to keep up with the company’s growth.
“This new space will help us streamline our operations and increase our manufacturing and warehouse space," said Lou Malice, chief operating officer. “It also expands our training area, which now includes a simulation suite that resembles the environment of a GI procedure room."
In mid-2010, EndoChoice moved into its existing facility, more than doubling its previous space. This move provided space for a state-of-the-art GI anatomic pathology laboratory. EndoChoice Pathology is a national reference laboratory accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP).
The expansion increases the company’s footprint from 35,000 to 60,000 square feet. The majority of the new space will accommodate automation and process-flow improvements in the production, controlled environment, and warehouse areas.
EndoChoice provides devices, diagnostics and procedural support for specialists treating a wide range of gastrointestinal diseases. The company was launched in 2008 and has been recognized by the Inc. 500 as one of the fastest-growing companies in America.
