SGNA to Host Webinar on Processing Water Bottles

CHICAGO―The Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates, Inc. (SGNA) will host a webinar on Tuesday, Jan. 29, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Central Time to present information on SGNA's "Statement on Reprocessing of Water Bottles Used During Endoscopy."

This virtual event is part of SGNA’s ongoing focus to educate GI/endoscopy nursing professionals on the issues impacting today’s healthcare practice.

The speaker, is Michelle Juan, MSN, RN, CGRN, co-chair of SGNA’s practice committee. She will:

1.            Define terms

2.            Recognize the history of this document and water-bottle reprocessing in general

3.            Identify the steps to reprocessing water bottles

4.            Identify appropriate water to be used

5.            Answer questions from attendees
